United Methodist Women
PURPOSE: The organized unit of United Methodist Women (UMW) shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. As a member of UMW, you celebrate and commit to supporting UMW's local, national and global mission outreach.
Our Pittman Park UMC women meet in various "Circle" groups for prayer, bible study and/or social time. We get together as a whole several times a year to hear special speakers, celebrate holidays or raise money for missions.
The following are the United Methodist Women's Circles at Pittman Park. You are invited to attend any or all at your choosing.
Agape Circle meets the first Tuesday of each month at 3 pm in the church Library or in homes of members, as announced in the Reacher and/or Bulletin. Contact: Tricia Duggan, pdmduggan@nctv.com, 912-681-1345.
Online Circle of Friends is for those who simply can not add another meeting to their schedule. We hold bi-yearly meetings in February and August. Regular communications will be "on-line" with a weekly devotion and prayer concerns as needed. Contact: Beth Lamb, eclamb00@gmail.com, 912-764-8748.

Susannah Wesley Circle meets the third Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am for a Dutch Treat lunch and devotional at RJ's Steakhouse. Contact: Mary Bon Wallace, wallaces@bulloch.net, 912-852-2333.
The PPUMC UMW Executive Committee meets on an as needed basis throughout the year in the church library. Contact: Debbie Sullenger, charless@frontiernet.net.
