Altar Flowers

This is a Flower Calendar for the congregation to volunteer to provide flowers in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings. A dedication mention will be placed in the Sunday morning bulletin noting that the donation was in honor of... or memory of ...  or whatever you specify. We do have a list of florists that we work with, but the choice is up to you, the donor. You can sign-up online or contact Marilyn Murkison at 912-764-9557 or email murkison38@yahoo.com to sign-up for a particular Sunday or ask questions.

After the Sunday service, the donor has the choice to take the arrangement home, specify another purpose for the arrangement or we have a group that breaks down the large arrangement into smaller vases that are then delivered as-needed to those who are home bound, nursing home residents or for bereavement, illness, surgery, etc.

When the arrangement is being broken down we will have volunteers meet on Monday morning in the fellowship hall kitchen and re-arrange the flowers into smaller vases, then they are delivered as specified. If you would like to assist with these activities or have a request of someone we need to deliver flowers to, please join us on Monday mornings or contact Nona Taylor at 912-764-9729 or nst3c@nctv.com.

We are also frequently in need of small to medium vases for this ministry. Donations can be left on the serving counter in the fellowship hall kitchen.
