Pastor Tim Steffen
Tim was appointed Senior Pastor of Pittman Park United Methodist Church in June of 2009.
In 1984, Tim completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Kentucky. He continued his studies at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, completing a Masters of Divinity. Since becoming an Ordained Elder in the South Georgia Conference in 1988, he has served as the Associate Pastor at Martha Bowman United Methodist (Macon), Senior Pastor of Doles United Methodist (Macon), Avalon United Methodist (Albany) and Wesley United Methodist at Frederica (Saint Simons Island).
Tim is joined by his wife, Delia, and three children, Jacob, Rebekah and Jordan. Tim enjoys playing guitar, tennis and reading. He was recently quoted as saying, "I just hope to make a splash in the 'boro."
